If you give a mouse a cookie... then the fun never ends! A small boy learns that giving a mouse a cookie has many implications that lead to madcap adventures as the house is turned upside down to please the small animal! The story features zany effects, lots of fun and one very hungry mouse.

A boy named Memo learns that Abuelita, his beloved grandmother, has died after a long illness. Wanting to hold on to her memory, he tries to recover Abuelita's dulce, the stash of forbidden candy hidden in her bedroom. Memo turns to an unexpected ally: Abuelita herself! Dulce weaves magical realism, physical comedy, music and dance into a story of a boy's search for hidden treasure, and of a family that learns how difficult -- and necessary -- it is to say goodbye to a loved one.
All field trips and tours* include talk backs with cast, classroom study guides, milk and cookies and more!
*Tours do not include milk and talk backs are dependent on school schedules.
TIMES
YTG field trips take place Monday-Friday with start times at 10:00am and 11:45am. Call time is a half hour before curtain. Shows last roughly one hour.

Your students will be introduced to the world of theatre with high-quality productions performed by professional actors. In addition to the show, your field trip also contains study guides, audience etiquette training, post show discussions with the actors as well as milk and cookie for everyone following the show.
