WESLEY J. BARNES* is thrilled to be back with the Phoenix Theatre family! He is an LA Native and a NYC resident. He received a BA in Theatre Performance/Musical Theatre from Concordia University Irvine (2015). As a member of the Kennedy Tap Co., he has performed for the NAACP Image Awards, PBS Holiday Spectacular, and Michael Jackson’s 45th Birthday party, and other events and tours. He has toured as a featured performer in Magic of the Dance in both Germany and Taiwan. Favorite credits include: Newsies, The Scottsboro Boys, In The Heights, Choir Boy, Hairspray, The World According to Snoopy, Songs for a New World, Reckless, and The Drowsy Chaperone. CHANEL BRAGG was last seen portraying Medda Larkin in Newsies here at Phoenix Theatre. Chanel is proudly an Equity Membership Candidate, and her favorite roles include: Effie in Dreamgirls, Mary Magdalene in JCS, Kala in Tarzan, Joanne in RENT, Jewel in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, and Ruth in A Raisin in the Sun. When not on stage, Chanel is a teaching artist and co-creator of the Soul of Broadway Cabaret Troupe. She also lends supporting vocals in Phoenix Afro Beat Orchestra. Chanel is also the founder for the United Colours of Arizona Theatre Inc., which endeavors to educate and network on behalf of artists of color in an effort to continue to diversify our great theatre community. Much thanks to Phoenix Theatre and Robbie Harper for helping in our endeavor, and Michael Barnard for his artistic direction. I am blessed with the opportunity to work at one of my favorite theaters.
MICHELLE CHIN is elated to be back at Phoenix Theatre in Godspell! Other Phoenix Theatre credits include:Hand to God (Jessica/Jolene), Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Shlatko/Drummer), Bullets Over Broadway(Olive Neal), Festival of New American Theatre, Wizard of Oz, Gypsy, and Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson. Next, Michelle will be playing Sally Bowles in Cabaret at Fort Peck Summer Theatre in Montana. Other credits include: Wonderland (Alice, Childsplay), John (Jenny, Stray Cat Theatre, AriZoni Award), and Steel Magnolias(Shelby, Arizona Broadway Theatre). Michelle is also a teaching artist and a percussionist. She holds a BM in Music Theatre performance from ASU.
LYNZEE FOREMAN is thrilled to be back here with Phoenix Theatre! Lynzee was last seen as Jeanie in HAIR at Arizona Broadway Theatre! She has also appeared at Phoenix Theatre as Daniela in In The Heights and June inChicago as well as at Arizona Broadway Theatre as Brooke Wyndham in Legally Blonde. Some of her favorite roles include: Erma in Anything Goes (Phoenix Theatre), Lina Lamont in Singin’ in the Rain, Pippi in Trailer Park the musical (both at ABT) as well as Maureen in RENT at Nearly Naked Theatre. When not performing herself, she is blessed to work with the Valley’s best youth talent at Spotlight Youth Theatre and also finds time to ride her reining horses. This is James’ ninth production with Phoenix Theatre, where he most recently played Jack Kelly in Newsies. He has just returned from performing a solo concert series in Las Vegas with guest artist Susan Anton. The concerts featured music from his debut album recorded with DW Music at Warner Brothers in Nashville. “So In Love” hit #6 on the iTunes Top 10 Classical Chart for the full week of its release and is currently for sale on iTunes, Amazon, and in the theatre lobby. MOLLY LAJOIE* (Choreographer) is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. She has worked extensively throughout the Valley, both performing and choreographing. Some of her Phoenix Theatre credits include White Christmas (Judy), Company (Susan),Crazy for You (Tess), and The Will Rogers Follies (Ziegfeld’s Favorite--ariZoni nominee). Other favorite roles include A Chorus Line (Cassie), Cats (Victoria), The Three Javelinas (Josefina), and Molly Sweeney (Molly). She was also a featured singer-dancer for An Evening with Rogers and Hammerstein with the Phoenix Symphony. Molly’s choreography credits at Phoenix Theatre include Gypsy (ariZoni nominee), Curtains (ariZoni nominee), and The Producers (ariZoni and Encore Award). She has also choreographed at most of the professional theatres in the valley. Molly is a teaching artist for Childsplay, teaches Broadway Dance Styles and Tap in the LOT Department at ASU, Phoenix Theatre’s Musical Theatre Intensive and Summer of Dance, and her company “Fall into Dance.” Molly is represented by Dani’s Agency.

An Arizona native, the American actor and singer has performed Off-Broadway in iLLA: A Hip Hop Musical and in LoveStory. Amongst theatrical credits, Maldonado has portrayed Simba for Disney Cruise Line, Ritchie Valens in the US Tour of Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story, and recently Bernardo in West Side Story in concert with the Phoenix Symphony. The AriZoni Award winning actor and nominee for Phoenix Theatre’sSpamalot and La Cage Aux Folles has also opened for Jordin Sparks at her XLII Superbowl Pre-Show, has worked on local and national commercials, short films, and on Netflix’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. “Many thanks to Michael Barnard, Phoenix Theatre and You, our audience! CHAD MCCLUSKEY is simply spellbound – being part of the incredible cast of Godspell has been the experience of a lifetime! Previous Phoenix Theatre credits include The Wizard of Oz (Nikko), Oliver! (ensemble) in co-production with The Phoenix Symphony, and Pippin (Player). Other valley credits include, Oedipus for Kids!(Evan/Oedipus), Zanna, Don’t! (Zanna/Evan Swing), and Gypsy (Tulsa). Chad spends his days enriching the minds of tomorrow teaching chemistry at Alhambra High School. A huge thank you to all involved with this incredible endeavour! MEGAN MOYLAN is thrilled to be returning to Phoenix Theatre with Godspell! Recently, she was seen as Amy inRock the Presidents (Childsplay, National Tour), Lizzie in Lizzie (A/CTC), and Rachel in The Lemonade Stand (Festival of New American Theatre, Phoenix Theatre). Other roles include Kirsten/Kit/Felicity/Nellie in The American Girl Revue (Mattel, Los Angeles), and Jane in The Prince and the Pauper (Deaf West). Film/television experience includes iCarly (Nickelodeon), Commander-in-Chief (ABC), and Ninja Cheerleaders (NCS Productions), as well as multiple commercials, radio spots, and original cast recordings. Megan would like to thank everyone involved with Godspell for all their invaluable support.
MICHAEL SAMPLE is grateful to be playing with this lovely tribe of Godspell. Michael has performed in theater productions throughout the country, in concerts, and in TV/film. 10 years ago he followed his heart’s path and founded a nonprofit in efforts to empower children through the development of arts education programs in Ecuador, India, and Ghana (projectcreo.com). In addition to the international work, Michael currently consults with education nonprofits in both NYC and LA. As a choral director and published composer, he has conducted with Grammy-nominated artists at international festivals, and was recognized in the NY Times. Most importantly, he believes it’s all about love and love is all about. Todos somos familia. Love to the family.
