Chanel Bragg (Director) is thrilled to return to The Phoenix Theatre Company’s esteemed New Works Festival to direct the riveting production, "Enferma". Performing on stages across the country, her favorite roles include Effie- DreamGirls, Dorothy- The Wiz, Joanne- Rent, Mrs. Mueller- Doubt, and Ruth in a Raisin in the Sun. Chanel’s directorial debut was 10 years ago with the Soul of Broadway performance troupe. She has since had the pleasure of directing at various theatres around the valley including: Spotlight Youth Theatre, Arizona Broadway Theatre, Fort Peck Summer Theatre, Free Arts for Abused Children, and Arizona Theatre Co. Chanel also directed “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide” for the Nash in the Jazz Meets Poetry series. Chanel also directed the Benefit Concert "UNITE" on behalf of The Phoenix Theatre Co. in Summer 2020. In 2019, she produced The Alexander Project, a touring Hamilton revue in conjunction with Live Nation.
