Debra is a Childsplay associate artist who works as an actor, director, and teaching artist. She has been seen as an actor on the The Phoenix Theatre Company stage as the title character in Becoming Dr. Ruth, Cora in Calendar Girls and Virginia Noyes in It’s Only a Play. Debra has been involved with the development process of The Truth About Winnie Ruth Judd as an actor and directed the staged reading for the The Phoenix Theatre Company New Works Festival in 2020. Among her directing credits are Elephant and Piggie, The Smartest Girl in the World, The Girl Who Swallowed a Cactus, Junie B is Not a Crook, and Interrupting Vanessa for Childsplay; The Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged for Southwest Shakespeare Company; The Revolutionists for The Bridge Initiative; The Crucible for Mesa Community College; Frog and Toad for Grand Canyon University; and Three No Trump for Theatreworks.
