Scott Davidson made his Phoenix Theatre debut as Mob Boss Nick Valenti in last season’s Bullets Over Broadway. Broadway: Chicago (Amos Hart), Hairspray (appeared as both Edna and Wilbur Turnblad.) Representative National Tours: The Producers (First and Second National Tours), Master Class (with Faye Dunaway), Joseph and...Dreamcoat (Jacob/Potiphar), My Fair Lady (Doolittle). Representative Regional: Hairspray (Edna Turnblad), Disney’s Aladdin (Babkak) both at Tuacahn Amphitheatre, The Producers (Max Bialystock) at North Shore Music Theatre, several productions at the Papermill Playhouse and the John W. Engeman Theatre. Television: The Sopranos, Ugly Betty, Rescue Me, Star Trek;Voyager. Film: The Producers, The Bronx is Burning, Fangs. His voice is featured in the Academy Award nominated documentary Sound and Fury. A native New Englander, Mr. Davidson lives in Scottsdale with his wife, actress Elyse Wolf, their son Max, and their dogs Georgie and Pedro Martinez.
Brian Golub is thrilled to be back at Phoenix Theatre for the fourth time where he was last seen as Abe in Altar Boyz (ariZoni Nomination; Best Supporting Actor), Chip in Spelling Bee and Oliver in Oliver in 1986…yes, 1986! An Arizona native, Brian has lived and worked in NYC for 20 years! His most notable film credit is his supporting role as Kristen Bell’s secretary in Disney’s “When In Rome.” He toured with Jekyll & Hyde (South Korea) and Joseph…Dreamcoat (U.S.) as well as sang on the Grammy Nominated Cast Album of Hair (B’way Benefit). Some NY credits: NBS (Off-Broadway), Fleet Week, Caligula and Floyd Collins. Brian is a two time Carbonell Award Nominee and has performed regionally at Walnut Street Playhouse, Casa Mañana, Gateway Playhouse, Maine State Music Theatre, Actors’ Playhouse, Philadelphia Theatre Company, Stages St. Louis, St. Michael’s Playhouse, Barrington Stage, Riverside Theatre, Merry Go Round Playhouse, and just finished playing the lead in Memphis at the Broward Center. Titus Kautz is ecstatic to be returning to Phoenix Theatre! He was last seen in Oliver with the Phoenix Symphony. MM Musical Theater (Arizona State University) and BM Vocal Performance (Nebraska Wesleyan University). Regional credits: Damn Yankees (Smokey), The 39 Steps (Hannay), Les Misérables (Marius). Other credits: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Simeon), Children of Eden (Father), Reefer Madness (Jesus/Jack), Anything Goes (Moonface Martin), Company (Larry), Il Signor Bruschino (Bruschino). In addition to performing, Titus is a pianist and music director. This fall, Titus will be joining the musical theatre faculty at the University of North Dakota as a voice instructor and music director.
