A brand-new offering, this class focuses on pop and rock music! Like in the films of the same name, the Pitch Perfect class will become their own vocal group like the Bellas or the Treblemakers and learn pop and rock vocal technique, riffing, show choir style dance, and even how to sing a little a Cappella – without music! This class will culminate in a special sharing performance in our Mezzanine Terrace for friends and family.

July 8 - 12

A special offering of our Musical Theatre Intensive series, this one-week Master Class will focus on techniques for professional auditions for youth. The Phoenix Theatre Company’s production of Seussical the Musical in December will feature two youth actors to alternate the role of Jojo – an imaginative child who conjures up the Cat in the Hat to tell the story of Horton the Elephant, the Whos in Whoville, and other Seuss favorites! Recommended for serious minded young artists, participants in this master class will get the opportunity to work with Chelsea Anderson, Casting Director, Kevin White, Resident Music Director, and other musical theatre professionals to polish their singing, dancing, and acting. The week will culminate in a mock audition for Michael Barnard, producing Artistic Director of The Phoenix Theatre Company and director of Seussical the Musical!
