Paco José Madden’s dramatic work “weirds” the intersection of gender, race, and politics. Born and raised in Washington, DC, Paco received an MFA in Dramatic Writing from Arizona State University and a BA in Drama from Catholic University of America.  In 2019, he was selected for Tempe Creative Cohort, a program designed to advance the careers of performance-based artists.  In 2021 and 2022, he became a member of the Artist Investment Program, a pilot program of the Arizona Commission on the Arts which invests in Arizona artists. Paco is the current playwright-in-residence for B3 Theater.  Previous production credits at B3 include Rosemary’s Baby Goes to High School (2020), Herlandia (2021), Swamp Girl/Zombie Girl (2022), and The Cannibal Diaries (2023). He currently lives in Tempe, AZ.
