Yasha Jenkins was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN. She began in-person scene study and improv training as an actress in 2022. Her acting coach in Indiana is the 2x nominee Jim Dougherty (63+ credits). She learned how to self tape and do monologues via Online Actors Academy with Jim Dougherty. Yasha relocated to Phoenix, AZ and continued her acting training. She’s continuing her education with 3x nominee Sean Dillingham (120+ credits) in Scottsdale, AZ. Yasha was given her first acting experience in the new film Forgot About (2023) on Amazon Prime. She brings a broad range of skills such as: athleticism , vocal projection, imagination, and emotional versatility. Yasha wants to thank the Phoenix Theater Company and directors for giving her this opportunity. She’s excited to make memories with her new Arizona family.
